The future for HR careers has never been brighter, and the HR profession is continuously identified as a fast-growing and critically important domain for the future. To remain relevant, however, will require a reframing of what the HR career journey entails. The traditional HR Career following a linear path of progression will need to shift towards new career patterns that offer different types of opportunities.
In this webinar, we discuss the evolving nature of HR Careers aligned to the following objectives:
- Discuss how the nature of HR careers has evolved in alignment with the changing world of work,
- Identify the new emerging HR career patterns and how HR professionals can incorporate these into their own journeys, and
- Provide a perspective on the actions we as HR professionals need to take to optimize our careers
About our Guest Facilitator:
Dr. Dieter Veldsman is an organizational psychologist with a passion for HR. He has over 15+ years of experience across the HR value chain and lifecycle, having worked for and consulted with various multi-national corporations in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has held the positions of CHRO, Organizational Effectiveness Executive, and Organizational Design and Development Principal.
He is passionate about the development of the profession and guest lectures at various institutions while also holding the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg.
